    Thank you for considering Le Castagne Ristorante to host your event.  Attached are our private party policies and menus.  

     

    Menu Selection

    We recommend that you provide us your menu selection at the time of your deposit, or shortly thereafter.  You may make substitutions to any menu: however, certain substitutions require additional charges.  We are happy to accommodate guests who require vegetarian meals or have other dietary restrictions: we appreciate your providing us advance notice of these restrictions.  Menus are subject to change based on seasonal availability, and we reserve the right to provide comparable substitutions.  Please plan on a minimum stay of two hours for dinner parties, and as much as three and one-half hours for large parties with more extensive menus.  If you are on a tighter schedule, we will be happy to work with you to develop a menu that suits your needs.  Please call us to discuss.

     

    Guarantees

    You must confirm with us, before noon at least two days before your event, the final guaranteed number of guests attending your function.  This number will serve as a guide for your minimum charges.  If we do not receive a guaranteed number by that time, we will charge according to (a) the number stated on your catering function agreement, or (b) the actual number of guests, whichever is greater.  We will not be required in any event to prepare meals for more than 10% above the guaranteed number of guests.  In addition, if the actual number of guests attending your event is equal to or less than 85% of the guaranteed number of guests, you will be required to pay an amount equal to 100% of the guaranteed number multiplied by the average charge to those actually attending your function.

     

     

     

    Deposit and Payment

    To confirm the date for your party, you must deliver a signed contract and satisfactory guarantee of payment.  In addition, we require a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of your agreed food and beverage minimum.

     

     

    Cocktails

    Beverages are charged on a per-drink basis.  Cocktails, wine, champagne, imported and domestic beers, and soft drinks are available.  Cocktail prices range from $7 to $14, wine and champagne will be charged as per our wine list, soft drinks are $2.50, and beer is $4.00.  Mineral water is $5.50 per bottle.

     

    For parties with only cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvre, we require a minimum of 20 guests and a minimum food charge of $25.00 per person.  In addition, there is a $75.00 bartender fee for all cocktail parties.
